We are back with another report from our search for the best product solutions! This time, we had a unique opportunity to visit the headquarters of the TELEFLOW brand, owned by the Michelin group, in France.
Together with representatives of Polish users of this technology, we took a close look at how a system that changes the rules of off-road mobility is made – CTIS (Central Tyre Inflation System).
During our visit:
– We toured the CTIS production facility – we saw how the components of this advanced system are made, from design to finished product.
– We visited the Michelin Blanzy factory, where tyres for military applications are produced – designed specifically to work with the CTIS.
TELEFLOW is a French manufacturer with over 30 years of experience in designing and producing CTIS systems. Since 2018, the company has been 100% owned by the Michelin group. Its solutions are used by armed forces around the world – including on platforms such as wheeled armoured personnel carriers.
For us – manufacturers of specialist vehicles (including military and municipal vehicles) – access to the latest off-road mobility technologies is crucial. The CTIS system is a solution that could be used in many of our products – from heavy transport sets to tankers operating in difficult terrain.
We thank you for the opportunity to participate in this inspiring event and thank all participants for valuable discussions and exchange of experiences!
