SB 4500

The SB 4500 sweeper model is designed to work with a tractor unit. The equipment is intended for use at airports and for operation with a snow plough.

It is a steel structure equipped with:

• Hydraulically driven brush
• Hydraulically driven high-speed fan
• Electronic control system using CAN technology
• Remote control panel
• Rear steering axle
• ABS brakes with anti-slip function ASR
• Engine with hydraulic pumps

Engine: CATERPILLAR C11 – 420 HP
Hydraulic drive: Rexroth A4VG180 – two-section pump for the brush and fan
Rexroth A2FM180 – hydraulic motors for the brush
Rexroth A2FM90 – hydraulic motor for the fan
Rexroth A10V045 – pump responsible for the brush steering function to the blower
Electrically driven safety pump for steering and lifting functions
Brushes, fan duct, and front support.

Coupling: coupling between the engine and the two-section pump.
Rear axle: SAF SK ZRLS steering axle.
Tyres: single tyres on the rear axle, Michelin XDN 385/60-R22.5; double tyres on the brush support wheels, Michelin XZR TL 180/70-R8.
Fuel tank: 400-litre tank providing 12–100 hours of operation; consumption: approx. 30 l/h.
Brakes: Wabco pneumatic brakes. Spring-loaded parking brake.
Electrical system: two batteries 2×12 V, remote control of all equipment functions.
Brush: brush diameter 940 mm, made of aluminium, 21 rows of brushes on the circumference, automatic track and brush speed adjustment system, automatically adjustable brush cover, two double support wheels. Working width 4.6 m; working angle ±35˚, adjustable rotational speed from 0-850 rpm.
Fan: hydraulically driven with an output of 10 m³/s. Air is blown out through a tunnel located below the fan.

As part of the delivery, we offer standard documentation in Polish, a spare parts catalogue, and three days of training for operators at the contracting authority’s premises.
