On 3 March 2026, we had the pleasure of participating in the Polish-Slovak Defence-Industry Dialogue, which took place in Bratislava.
The event brought together representatives of government administrations, financial institutions and defence companies from Poland and Slovakia. Among the key participants were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence of Poland Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Slovakia Róbert Kaliňák.
The Polish-Slovak Defence-Industry Dialogue is the first such broad forum for agreement between representatives of governments and public and private defence sector companies of both countries. The event was organised by European Defence Analytics and Defence24, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic and the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Poland.
Topics discussed included:
– Joint modernisation projects – including cooperation on armoured personnel carriers (Rosomak, Borsuk), large-calibre ammunition and artillery systems
– Development of industrial potential in Central Europe – building independent production capabilities and integrating supply chains
– New technologies for land forces – including unmanned systems and advanced solutions for armed forces
– Anti-drone systems – including the Polish SAN (Anti-Drone System), which could be developed through Polish-Slovak cooperation
– Project financing – using European financial instruments, including the SAFE programme
As the defence ministers of both countries emphasised, industrial cooperation has a strategic dimension and will contribute to strengthening the security of the entire region. “This is true sovereignty, because it is a guarantee of our security. We will not be dependent on anyone else,” indicated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
We are pleased that we were able to present the potential of the REKORD Group during this prestigious event. It was an excellent opportunity to:
– learn about the modernisation priorities of the armed forces of both countries,
– establish contacts with key players in the Polish and Slovak defence industries,
– discuss specific directions for further cooperation.
