Delivery of CSR friction testers for military airports. Over eight years of work by ITWL, Dobrowolski Sp. z o. o. and HAX Warias Dariusz led to the creation of a computerized, modular system based on the popular Peugeot Riffter vehicle. The friction tester is a device for continuous measurement of the friction coefficient of artificial airport surfaces made of cement and asphalt concrete, intended to perform measurements in accordance with the requirements of the defense standard NO-17-A501:2015 Airport surfaces – Roughness testing. Contract for over 100 tank transport sets. The consortium consisting of: Dobrowolski (leader) together with Autobox Innovations and Top Gun A. Goryca signed a contract for the supply of Mercedes Benz Zetros, 3348AS 6×6 vehicles along with semi-trailers manufactured by Dobrowolski. Gdynia signed an agreement with Dobrowolski Sp. z o. o. for the delivery of 18 brand new special vehicles. The contract was worth nearly PLN 25 million. These included ORION plows, spreaders and salt spreaders, sweepers and PZ water spreaders. Due to the ongoing restrictions related to COVID-19 at that time, the contract was concluded online. Thanks to Skype, representatives of both parties signed a symbolic, but completely important, contract for the purchase of equipment.
In 2016, as a result of the consolidation of the Dobrowolski Capital Group, the company took over the shares of other enterprises and thus there were changes in its share capital. The company focuses on development and innovation. The resulting products, from the idea through the technological process and production, are the company’s own concept. Moreover, Dobrowolski takes into account market requirements and customer experience, which are used as a basis for the creation of new designs – often unique on a European scale.
Since 2010, cooperation with Nauka Polska has been initiated. The company can use scientific knowledge: – Wrocław University of Science and Technology – in the field of engineering calculations – State Higher Vocational School named after J. A. Komeński in Leszno – in the field of modeling and implementation of the Leszno Model of Dual Studies and co-shaping the program profile of the Polytechnic Institute as an external stakeholder, – Częstochowa University of Technology – in the implementation of innovative solutions for prototype products and profiling of the Research and Development Center as part of the INOMOTO program of the National Center for Research and Development.
In 1998, the company was privatized and became part of the Dobrowolski Capital Group and started selling products under the DOBROWOLSKI brand.
In the 1970s, three product groups were formed:
– slurry equipment,
– winter road maintenance equipment,
– solid waste collection equipment.
